This course has been started with a view to develop professionals in the field of Hospital Management through a comprehensive post-graduate program. It offers intensive training in the operational and administrative areas of the Hospital to equip them with the management skills like planning, organising, decision making

Scope of MBA

	Hospital industry is an important component of the value chain in India health care industry rendering services and recognized as health care industry which is growing at an annul rate of 14%
	The size of the Indian health care industry is estimated at Rs.1,717 billion in 2007 .It is estimated to grow by 2012 to Rs.3,163 billion at 13%. As the largest industry 2006,health care provided 14 million jobs 13.6 million jobs for wages and salary workers and about 438,000 jobs for the self employed
	7 of the 20 fastest growing occupation are health care related
	Health care will generate 3 million new wage and salary jobs between 2006 and 2016,more than industry.

Duration : 2 years –Semester pattern

Eligibility : Any Graduate with a minimum 50% of pass in UG (BA, B.Com, B.Sc, MBBS, BPT, B. Pharm, BE, B.Tech, BDS)

Departmental postings

Every academic session includes field trips to various departments in the hospital to get hands on experience and to understand the functioning, protocols, documentation, structure, design and administration of various departments.

Internship :

Internship within Apollo hospital for the duration of six month, provides opportunity to gain more practical knowledge and experience from a Hospital of international standard accredited by J.C.I.A
