General Regulations |

Admission |
|
|
The candidates seeking admission to B Sc(N) courses shall obtain the prescribed application form from the College of Nursing and shall submit the dully filled form to the Principal of College of Nursing along with the certificate of medical fitness. |
|
Selection |
|
|
The selection of the candidates will be as per the procedure recommended by the Government from time to time.
ONLY FAMALE CANDIDATES ARE SELECETED TO JOIN THE COURSE.
All the candidates selected to join the course shall submit their necessary original certificates at the time of Admission. The certificates shall be returned only after the completion of the course.

Medical certificate |
|
|
The candidates shall submit a certificate of medical fitness from an authorized medical officer that the candidate is physically fit to undergo the academic programme. |
|
Registration / Enrollment |
|
|
The candidates admitted for B Sc(N) degree course shall register with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University by remitting the prescribed fee along with the application form for registration duly filled in and forwarded to the university through the head of the institution within the stipulated date. |
|
Medium of Instruction |
|
|
English shall be the medium for all the subjects of study and for examinations. |
|
Curriculum |
|
|
The curriculum and the syllabi shall be as prescribed by the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University and Indian Nursing Council from time to time. |
|
Payment of fees |
|
|
The candidates are expected to pay the prescribed fees fixed from time to time with in the cut off dates subject to the rules and regulations. Fees payment should be in the form of Demand Draft, Neft & Online Transfer. Cash payment strictly not accepted. The delay in fee remittance will attract fine. The fees once paid shall not be returned under any circumstances. The fees structure shall be obtained from the accounts office of the College. Fees payment can be done by the parents during office hours Monday to Friday 09.30am to 3.00pm. |

School / College working hours |
|
|
The College functions full day from Monday to Saturday and the working hours are from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on all working days for theory classes and 07:00am – 03:30pm for clinical duties.

|
Uniform |
|
|
The students are required to wear the prescribed uniform to the college and clinical duty. Uniform shall be provided by the college only.
|
|
|
Attendance |
|
|
The students are required to put in a minimum of 80% of attendance in the theory and 100% of attendance in Clinical Duty's separately in each subject before appearing for the university examination. The students are strictly not permitted to take leave unnecessarily. All the leave taken during the course must be compensated before the completion of course. |
|
Vacation and leave |
|
|
A total of four weeks of vacation per year is planned and the students are permitted to avail the same as two weeks in December and two weeks in May.
Public holidays are as per the rules of the institution. Special leave may be granted by the Principal on prior request from the parents for special occasions. Unauthorized leave will be deemed as absenteeism, which will attract disciplinary action.

Discontinuation |
|
|
In case of course discontinuation on any circumstances after the University Registration, candidate is liable pay the existing year fees along with the tuition fees of the entire course.
Candidate getting married during the course of study shall not be permitted to continue the course and liable to pay the existing year fees along with the tuition fees of the entire course |
